This group starts with a side note as it includes a Toulouse female. Originally we ordered two Toulouse females to add to our Toulouse gaggle, but sadly we lost one four days after it was shipped. Unfortunately the hatchery had no more Toulouse, but we couldn’t leave the little girl gosling by herself!
So we decided to get three African’s; two females and one male. By the time our new order arrived eight days had passed since “Toulie’s” was hatched so she is the eldest of the bunch. They have become great mates, although Toulie is a bit independent. Before breeding season she will be introduced the other Toulouse and we’ll take it from there, but for now she’ll stay with her buds. See if you can pick her out in the baby picture!
